Four Fall Trends I’m Loving

It definitely feels like fall where I live, and that means it is time to start pulling out the fall clothing and accessories. There are so many fall trends I have been loving this season, and I have been thinking about all the different ways to style my favorites. In today’s post I am wearing the Loft Autumn Dream Shirtdress. Loft has so many sales (and they are having a big one tomorrow!) and I picked up this dress during their most recent one. The blue and yellow floral design is just so eye-catching, and the ruffle detail makes this dress so feminine. This dress would look fine with sandals, but to really complement the blue accents in the dress I am wearing navy velvet boots from Ann Taylor. A black leather jacket and star statement earrings complete the look.

Fall Trends: Fall Floral Dresses

I love floral anything, and I am especially excited to see fall-inspired floral prints in style this year. The Loft dress I am wearing is just one example of this. I have also had this gorgeous green floral Yumi Kim dress on my wishlist. Another favorite of mine (and on sale right now) is this Alice and Olivia Lakita Tiered Dress. This Parker NY Adelle Dress is stunning with it’s black and blue floral print and velvet trim (and also part of the Shopbop sale!).  I’ve never seen a Self-Portrait dress I didn’t like, and this Floral Grid Midi dress is no exception. Finally this Eliza J Print Velvet Shift Dress would be a great dress for work and it could easily be worn into the evening as well.

Fall Tends: Statement Earrings

I have to admit, for the longest time I wore simple hoop earrings or pearl earrings. I have seen so many nice statement earrings lately, that I couldn’t resist picking up a pair. My ears are very sensitive, and I have to be very careful about what I wear. These earrings are sparkly enough to catch your eye, and they are so light that they don’t bother my ears at all. And these earrings are under $13! Fall Trends: Leather Moto Jackets

Leather moto jackets are in style again this year, and I can see why. They are stylish and practical at the same time. I picked up my Topshop jacket during the Nordstrom sale at a great price, but there are very similar ones here and here that are a part of the Shopbop sale. This brown leather moto jacket by Halogen is another fall staple, and it would look so nice with a cozy sweater. Finally I also own this BlankNYC suede moto jacket in gray and I can’t wait to wear it when the weather is cooler.

Fall Trends: Velvet Booties

Can I tell you I am obsessed with the velvet bootie trend? I have wanted a pair of navy velvet booties for quite some time, but I didn’t want to break the bank to have them. Several more expensive brands caught my eye, but as soon as I saw these Ann Taylor navy booties that I am wearing, I knew they were the ones for me. I also recently purchased these pink Free People velvet booties, and I just love the soft pink color. These Marc Fischer Grazie booties are another favorite of mine, and expect to see them styled in an upcoming post. I got the star print ones, but there are seven other styles available at Nordstrom.  And while these Stuart Weitzman Vigor ankle booties aren’t quite velvet, they are definitely a fall staple boot that will be in style for years (and they are 25% off right now as part of the Shopbop sale!).

So I hope I’ve given you plenty of inspiration as you plan your fall outfits. There are so many great pieces and so many great sales with these fall trends, that it is hard to say no!
