The Best of the Memorial Day Weekend Sales

There is only a little over a day left of the Memorial Weekend, but I wanted to take the time to at least mention the sales that go on throughout the weekend. This is a bit of a more comprehensive post, and I was too busy with work last week to have the time to post this on Friday. But better late than never! There are so many great sales going on this weekend, and now is a great time to stock up on summer essentials or to have a wardrobe refresh. Below are some of the sales from my favorite stores:

Ann Taylor

I regularly post about Ann Taylor clothes as their styles are so classic. Their clothing is perfect for both professional and casual wear. Some of my favorites include this striped fluted top as well as this and this gingham top. This tulip flared dress is both classic and eye catching. Finally these Gigi leather block heel sandals are a perfect neutral summer sandal.

Loft

The shirt I am wearing in today’s post is from Loft. This top is one of my favorites from their spring collection. It is basic white top it is easy to accessorize, yet the flirty one shoulder eyelet design makes it stylish. And at 50% off the price is only $22.25. Loft has several other items that I have purchased or are on my wish list. I posted about this petite floral shimmer flounce dress on Instagram (full blog post coming). This straw tote is adorable and a perfect summer accessory. I also love this pretty blue floral romper. Finally this gingham dress is just so cute!

Nordstrom

There are so many great items available at Nordstrom right now during their 40% off semi-annual sale. I like this Ted Baker dress and this pretty blue lace dress. This top is a pretty pink stripe color. But really the most impressive sale items are the designer items. This Burberry Sandringham coat that I posted about here is now on sale for $956.98, which is an outstanding price. Multiple sizes are available (though the coat is the long, not short or medium version). One almost never sees Chloe items on sale, but this darling blue Drew bag is 33% off the list price. There are many designer sunglasses on sale, but my favorites are these simple Prada gradient round sunglasses.

Bloomingdales

Bloomingdales has a large variety of items for sale and you can use code BIGBAG for an additional 20% off your purchase. I love my Stuart Weitzman Highland boots, and now is the time to buy them as they are under $475 with the additional 25% off code. I’ve had this Burberry Finsbridge coat from the last season, but it is such a classic style that it will last for years. This coat can now be yours for the excellent price of $540. These Sergio Rossi platform wedge sandals are so classically styled that I know they would last for many seasons. Of course I couldn’t write this post without mentioning my favorite Aqua dresses. This beautiful white flounce hem dress is just so feminine. Finally I love the pink floral print of this V-neck maxi dress.

J. Crew

J. Crew alway has great summer styles. I’ve been wearing their chino shorts for years. I love these tie front satin shorts (they come in both pink and white). This floral tank top is such a pretty design. I also like the whimsical style of this polka dot cold shoulder top. Finally J. Crew always has nice dresses. This gingham dress and this elegant off the shoulder seersucker dress with ties are my favorites.

Talbots 

Talbots has a great collection of sale items. This skirt with this top have been on my wishlist for quite some time. I love the blue color and the pretty scallop hem of this top. This purse is just adorable. Finally Talbots has so many pretty necklaces on sale and this bead drop necklace and this delicate flower necklace are among my favorites.

Banana Republic

BR has everything in their store on sale (including regular and sale items). I’ve always loved BR dresses, and this and this floral dress are no exception. Now is a great time to buy their classic Sloan fit pants (also available in petites). This cute pink off the shoulder top is such a pretty color. Finally their Robin ballet flat is available in so many classic colors.

Express

Express is marking down many items up to 50% off the original price. Express denim shorts are among my favorites. I have these white ones, and these distressed denim ones would be great for summer. I also have and regularly wear this classic cream trench, and right now it is under $90. This feminine tiered eyelet dress is just so pretty! Finally, I’ve had my eye on this lovely pink floral Portfino top.

Shopbop

Shopbop is having a great sale on a large number of items, including designer clothing and shoes. I love the pretty blush color of these Suede Aquazzura sandals, and they are a great price at 40% off list price. I have this Loeffler Randall mini bag, and it is perfect for spring. This Club Monaco dress is such a beautiful color, and is both simple and romantic. This Sarnie dress would be perfect for the beach or a casual summer day. Finally this Hat Attack small Provence tote is a great summer tote and is under $70 right now.
