Caroline Constas Appolonia Off The Shoulder Mini Dress

With Independence Day just around the corner, I thought I would post my favorite dress to wear for the festive holiday. I first saw this Caroline Constas Appolonia off the shoulder mini dress when my friend Janet of Petite Chic Mom posted about it. Instantly I was enamored with the dramatic bell sleeve design and I knew I had to have the dress! This dress comes in so many different colors. Most are available on the Caroline Constas website.  The dress that I am wearing though I purchased at Intermix (now sold out but still available at Bergdorf Goodman and Shopbop). I love the patriotic mix of red, white and blue.  The size I am wearing is the XS and overall it fits well.  I would like to have the sleeves shortened however as they are a bit long. I paid full price but it is now on sale at Bergdorf Goodman for under $300 (which for the quality of the dress is an excellent price). This dress made of 100% cotton poplin. The fabric is high quality and it travels well as it wasn’t even wrinkled straight out of the box. Paired with this adorable star tote, this dress is perfect for July 4th festivities.  This dress would be perfect as a date night dress or a dreamy daytime look at a beach resort.

Caroline Constas is a New York designer known for her travel-friendly, eye-catching designs. She creates clothing made of weightless cottons and other luxurious fabrics. Her designs are focused on accentuating the feminine frame. I love so many of her designs! The Artemis Bustier topArtemis Bustier top is striking similar to the Bebe top I am wearing in this post. She has been using gingham in several of her current designs and the Helena and Maria dress are two of my favorites. I love the kaleidoscopic print and the feminine puffed sleeves of the Gisele OTS blouse. Finally I love the fit and flare design and the geometric pattern of the Maria Square-Neck Tiered Mini Dress. One can see how she conveys the jet setting lifestyle in her designs through these pieces.
