Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is Here!

By the time you read this post early tomorrow morning the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale will be in full swing! This is the sale of the year and if it is anything like the previous bi-annual Lilly Pulitzer sale (where 90,000 people were waiting in a digital “line”) you will need to set your alarm for 8:00 am on August 28th if you want to take advantage of the sale. Getting in the digital line (to avoid site crashes) as soon as possible is crucial to ensuring you will have the best selection. If you are late you don’t want to be the last person in line as the sale ends at 11:59 pm on August 30th.

It is best to create an account as soon as possible to ensure you can be one of the first people in the digital line. I even recommend preloading  your credit card information (or Paypal info) before the sale. From what I understand the digital “line” does go quickly. Be sure to turn up the sound on your computer or device as you will receive a sound notification that you can shop the sale. Once you have access you can shop the sale until you check out, and then you go to the end of the line if you want to buy something else. All sales are final but everything does ship free!

Lilly Pulitzer Amina V-Neck Swing Dress

I have heard so much hype about Lilly Pulitzer, that I decided to buy my first dress (that I am wearing here) earlier this summer. The Amina Swing V-neck dress is a colorful dress that is perfect for the beach or a summer day in Nantucket. The bright neon colors are not something I typically wear, but it is a nice change for the summer. The bright abstract print is definitely eye-catching! This dress is comfortable and is made of 100% pima cotton. The fit is petite-friendly as it falls above the knee. The XS fits me perfectly. See the complete Lilly size guide here. This is the kind of dress I could wear all day!

I kept the rest of the look simple. The “goes with everything” Cult Gaia bag fits with this dress as well. A simple pair of neutral sandals goes well as they do not compete with the dress.

My fun little bracelets were made by my daughter. She loves jewelry-making. I thin her creations are perfect with this dress!

Other Lilly Pulitzer Favorites

I have to say, I am pretty excited about this sale. I have found several items that really have caught my eye and have me thinking about my next beach vacation. While bright colors are fun, I really like the classic navy Gabby shift dress. The beaded V-Neckline really makes this dress unique. The Beacon dress and the Achelle Swing dress I think would be perfect on a warm summer day. Both would look great with the Cha-Cha Straw Tote Bag. I could lounge around all day in the Luxletic Weekender Midi Pant with the Luxletic Adley Sunguard. Finally this fun and whimsical Waverly top would be perfect for a lunch date with friends or even for a casual work day. I hope these pieces are on sale!
