When it comes to Valentine’s day, I love getting dressed up once for date night with my husband. It’s a rare chance we get to spend alone together. The rest of the time though, I would much rather be in jeans and a sweater or a comfy sweater dress, hanging out with my kids. Of course around this time of year my favorite sweaters to wear are in shades of pink or red as it is a great way to get you in the mood for this fun and festive holiday! And sweaters in these shades are versatile enough you can wear them beyond the holiday too. Ann Taylor Heart Short Sleeve Sweater
I was looking for the perfect sweater to wear for a Valentine’s day post, and when I found this adorable pink heart sweater at Ann Taylor, I knew it would be perfect! The mixture of red and pink colors works well for the holiday, yet it is classic enough to wear beyond the big day. It made of a comfortable and stretchy cotton/rayon blend, which makes it versatile enough to dress up with a skirt and a blazer or to dress down with a pair of jeans. And given the sleeves are short, this would be a great sweater to wear in the spring or summer too! Sizing is true to size, and I am wearing my typical small here.
