Why this SheIn Floral Pleated Mini Skirt is the Skirt for All Seasons

Ever since I became a fashion blogger I have enjoyed shopping at retailers other than the traditional ones typically found in the malls. SheIn was one of the first retailers that I discovered, and I have found that they have a large variety of high-quality clothing at affordable prices. I have heard of customer service issues, but honestly I have never had an issue myself. If you have been reading my blog, you will find I have featured several items of clothing from SheIn. This floral box pleated midi skirt appealed to me because of it’s feminine details and it’s A-line style. This skirt is featured in their summer section, but it can be worn all seasons by pairing it with a long sleeved shirt or sweater, a blazer, or a sleeveless tank top. It is made of a sturdy polyester material and is lined. It is very similar in style and quality to a Chi Chi London floral skirt that I have that was considerably more expensive. I did have a small issue with the zipper breaking when I put it on, but I was able to have it replaced very affordably by my tailor. I think it was just bad luck with the zipper as I’ve not had other issues with zippers from SheIn. The skirt is somewhat long, and could be shortened a few inches if desired. I am wearing a size small, and the skirt is very true to size.

To complete the outfit, I paired it with a solid navy merino crew sweater from Banana Republic. Had this been the springtime, I probably would have worn a white strappy tank top. I am wearing my pink Ted Baker Cossay heels and my Chloe + Isabel collar necklace. The purse I purchased from Tradesy practically brand new, as I prefer the old Robinson style to the new one.  Overall it is a dressier look for work or a nice lunch with friends.

Thanks for looking!

  1. That’s such a pretty skirt and I love how you styled it. I’ve always been hesitant to order bottoms from Shein but I’m happy to hear that this one is true to size. That gold heel on your pumps is gorgeous! Xoxo

  2. The colors in this are gorgeous… this would be perfect for my husbands holiday dinner!!! You look stunning and the simple details of the necklace and bag really pull it all together!

  3. Love it!! Such a beautiful floral print on the midi skirt and perfectly accessorized with the structured bag. The rose gold accent on the pumps is beyond fab!! xo

  4. This outfit is absolutely stunning! I love this skirt! I could see this being perfect in the winter– its longer in length, but not too long that it would be dragging in the snow. & your purse is a perfect complement to the skirt!
