Ann Taylor Lace Dress and a Necklace for a Special Cause…

I’ve been shopping at Ann Taylor at least for fifteen years, ever since I became a medical professional. Their clothes have always been geared towards professional women, and thus it was natural for me to shop there. I found this Ann Taylor lace dress during their *almost* 50% off Friends and Family sale. I just loved the soft, what I would call periwinkle color, along with the pretty the lace detail.  The 2 petite was the perfect size for me. It still fit somewhat large I thought, but since it is a shift dress it was meant to be this way. It is still on sale and you can get it for under $72 right now.

As for the necklace, I got this through a personal Chloe + Isabel jewelry boutique. Annie’s Boutique, during the month of September, is donating a portion of her proceeds from specific jewelry to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer. I was more than happy to purchase what I thought was a gorgeous necklace and at the same time help towards a good cause. Cancer is such a shattering diagnosis, and I have seen personally a good friend of mine die from ovarian cancer in her 20’s. Numerous other family and friends have also died from cancer, as I am sure is true in almost every family. My own father, was recently diagnosed with an incurable cancer as well. I hope that in my lifetime, cures can be found for what is a devastating disease. As for the Chloe + Isabel Jewelry, I cannot say enough good things about it.
