I hope you are having a great weekend! We’ve had some perfect summer weather lately, and I am definitely taking advantage of it. Even though the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still in full swing, there are still lots of great sales to take advantage of this weekend. One of my favorite retailers, Ann Taylor, is having their Semi Annual sale. With the change of seasons about to take place now is the time to take advantage of the summer clearance sales, and Ann Taylor has some really nice pieces. I normally shop at Ann Taylor for work outfits, but they have lots of great casual pieces as well. And during the Semi Annual Sale all sale pieces are 50% off with an additional 10% off (no code needed). And now that Ann Taylor offers ShopRunner shipping, there is no minimum purchase requirement for free two day shipping. It is very easy to get Shoprunner shipping for free (as long as you have an American Express, MasterCard or Paypal account). 

Ann Taylor Floral Halter Bow Back Dress

I saw this dress when window shopping at the mall a few weeks ago, and I knew I had to have it. The colorful floral design is just so pretty. I love the halter top and the A-line style. This is one of those dresses that is perfect for summer too. I have been wearing it to work, but this dress would be great for lunch with friends or even date night. It even has a pretty bow at the back (not pictured) that really adds to the style of the dress. I am wearing my typical XS petite, and this dress fits well.

Since the dress has a white background, I decided to wear white shoes and carry a white purse. You could easily though add a more colorful bag (such as pink) for a brighter look. I received so many complements though on this dress  by keeping to my simple and classic styling. 

Ann Taylor has several other dresses that are perfect for summer that are a part of the sale. This plaid tie waist midi dress has such a classic yet striking design. This pretty watermelon pink wrap dress would be perfect for work or a casual date. And this pineapple print halter dress would be perfect for a tropical getaway. As for sweaters and tops, I also like this pleated sleeve sweater (which would be great for fall as well), and this pretty tiered ruffle shell. As for outerwear, this ruffled denim jacket is adorable! And my favorite suede block heel sandals (see here, here, and here) are also a part of the sale.
