Talbots New Arrivals for Fall
The weekend is almost here and it couldn’t come fast enough. This week seemed extra long as I worked every day (no holidays or mid-day week off for me) and my husband was gone most of the week. The kids have to be at school pretty early, so that means getting up by 6:30 am to be out the door by 7:45 am. And the day really isn’t done until 11 pm or so after I catch up with the kids and work on blog posts. So by the time the weekend hits I am so ready for sleeping in and getting in some relaxation. Which means after dressing up all week I look forward to putting on jeans and a T-shirt. The weather is finally cooling off here, so that means it is time for fall layers!
Talbots has had some really nice new arrivals for fall. The Talbots fall line is all about color (along with some classic pieces in the mix). As soon as I saw this cheerful yellow vest, I knew it would be a great piece to wear on a chilly fall day. I love wearing vests when the weather gets cold, as a vest is a great way to add style to your outfit and it keeps you warm!
The nice thing about this vest is that it isn’t too puffy, and the fleece lining adds an extra layer of warmth. I love the bright yellow color, but this vest also comes in black, navy, red, green, and white. I am wearing the Misses XS (I am long waisted and I don’t usually need petite tops).
Talbots Authentic Tee
The Talbots Authentic tee is one of those wardrobe staple pieces that will last for years (see how I also styled it here). Every year the colors are different. This year’s tee definitely has more color in it, which makes it fun to wear on a casual fall day. Penelope Scalloped Ballet Flats
These flats will put a smile on your face as soon as you put them on your feet! The scallop detail is fun and flirtatious and the gold accent at the heel is a really nice detail. These flats are so comfortable too! This makes them perfect for a long day at work or a weekend of running errands.

These jeans come in the petite sizes (I am wearing the 2P). These jeans contour my body in all the right places for a slimming look. They are an everyday staple piece that will last season after season. And you can pair these jeans with a solid, stripe or statement tee for an effortless, modern look.
