A Little Red Dress for the Holidays
The holidays are such a fun time to be able to get dressed up and socialize with friends and family. The holidays are also the perfect time to wear our best dresses of the season. In today’s post I am wearing this cute little red dress, the BB Dakota ‘Reney’ Fit and Flare dress from Nordstrom. I wore this dress to our family’s annual Christmas luncheon. The feminine lace design and the fit and flare style were what appealed to me the most. This dress comes in so many different colors. Better yet, it is on sale at under $70! Even though I wore this dress for a Christmas luncheon, it would also be perfect for a New Year’s Eve celebration too. This little red dress is cute, but there are so many other cute red dresses to choose from right now!
I will say that it was absolutely frigid (in the teens) the day I wore this dress, so to keep at least a little warmer I paired it with a cute waterfall cardigan from Ann Taylor (previously seen here). I am also wearing my favorite silver heels from Jimmy Choo. My clutch is a super cute silvery/gold clutch from GiGi New York (I absolutely love her bags!).
I knew I wanted outdoor photos so for this post we headed to Nickels Arcade in downtown Ann Arbor. At least here we could be out of the wind. We literally ran outside for less than a minute to take these photos, at which point we ran back into a little store to stay warm (and we picked up some cute Christmas ornaments along the way!).
