Loft Sale Favorites
It is hard to believe that July is just around the corner! I tell you after what seemed like an extra long winter, I am thoroughly enjoying all of the nice weather we have been having. There have been so many days where the temps have been in the upper 90’s and I am not complaining at all. If you are looking to update your summer wardrobe with a few new pieces, now is the weekend to do it! One of my favorite stores for summer looks, Loft, is offering 40% off everything with code HBDUSA.
With all the warm weather we have been having, I decided to update my office wardrobe with a few new pieces. When it is hot outside yet cold indoors, wearing light pieces while layering with other pieces such as jackets and cardigans is key. I love these light linen tie waist pants from Loft for the summer. The pretty grey color I am wearing looks great with so many tops. The tie waist is such a pretty detail too. What I really like about these pants though is that the fabric is perfect for the hot, humid weather and these pants do not wrinkle.
My only suggestion with these pants is to size down one size as these do run a little bit big. I am wearing my typical 2 petite and I wish I had sized down to a 0. At the very least I don’t need to worry about these being too tight after a big lunch or dinner!
To keep this look light and airy for work, I decided to pair the pants with this floral flounce tank top from Loft as well. I love the pretty, soft floral design. This is actually a peplum top, though I am wearing it tucked inside my pants. I wear my white lab coat over it when at work, but this top would look nice with a cardigan or blazer as well. When not at work I like wearing it out, with a pair of white jeans or shorts.
I’ve worn these grey Cole Haan heels many times for work. People ask me all the time how I can wear heels to work, and the key is to wear nice sturdy heels that aren’t too high. I can wear these heels hours on end at work and my feet do not hurt at all!
Overall this is just a fun, classic look that has been on major repeat for me this season!
