Leith Sweaters and Dresses
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing, and I keep finding new things every day that I feel like I have to have! One of my favorite brands, Leith, has some really nice pieces as part of the sale. Leith is one of Nordstrom’s basic brands that is known for comfortable tops, sweaters, and dresses (see this post where I am wearing one of my favorite Leith dresses). When I came a cross the short sleeve version of my favorite dress, I knew I had to have it for summer!
I swear this dress feels more like comfy pajamas, only a lot more stylish. I can seriously wear this dress all day and it is so comfortable I could even sleep in it. The dress I am wearing is a pretty heather grey color, but it also comes in red, black, and navy. This dress has been so popular during the sale that it is only available in limited sizes. This dress however, also by Leith is very similar and is available in many more sizes and colors. I suspect though that the Mélange wrap dress will be restocked, as it is just one of those classic dresses that is popular year after year. And it is so easy to dress up or dress down.
Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater
Sweaters and cardigans are so popular during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I can certainly see why. With fall just around the corner, one can never have too many sweaters. I bought this Leith ribbed shawl cocoon sweater a few days into the sale, and I am so glad I did! This cardigan is seriously one of the most comfortable cardigans I own. It honestly feels more like a robe, only more stylish. I love the pretty teal blue color, but this sweater also comes in a burnt orange color, pink, cream, and dark grey. All of the colors are just so pretty!
This cardigan is one of those staple pieces that will look great styled casually with jeans and a tank. Wear it with a dress such as the one I am wearing for work or a casual date night. I seriously did not want to take it off when I put it on it is just that comfortable.
Blondo Nova Waterproof Bootie
If you are going to buy one pair of shoes or boots during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, these Blondo waterproof booties should be on your list to by. With the rainy fall weather/snowy winter weather in the Midwest, a nice pair of waterproof booties is a must. I wore these the day we went to the Ann Arbor Art fair. My kids and I walked four miles while I wore these booties, and they definitely remained comfortable. And when the torrential downpour happened I was certainly prepared!
Cozy Sweaters and Cardigans
See below for more of my favorite sweaters and cardigans from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year we are seeing a new take on old favorites, as well as familiar pieces in new colors. This Barefoot Dreams CozyChic cardigan is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. As soon as the weather turns chilly, I am wearing this sweater all the time. Cashmere never goes out of style and this cashmere cardigan is no exception. I always love the classic upscale styling of Veronica Beard pieces, and this merino sweater would look great with jeans, pants, or a skirt. And this Caslon side button hooded sweater is great for any casual day!

Oh my gosh, I bet that dress would really pop in red! The sweater looks comfy too, but I hardly ever buy them since we typically have such little opportunity in south Texas to wear something like that.

That dress is stunning on you! I love cashmere too, unfortunately, in Arizona, the window I get to wear things like that is only a couple months. Makes me sad!
