Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access is Here!

So the sale of the season is finally open for public access! I took advantage of the Early Access sale as a Nordstrom cardholder. There are just so many great things to choose from that I couldn’t help myself! See all my favorites from the sale in this post from last week. What is great about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is that new items for fall are up to 70% off their original prices. So not only do you get to take advantage of the prices, you also get to see what is trending for fall. If you see something you like, you are better off buying it, as items sell out so quickly! Public access to the sale begins at midnight on July 20 and ends on August 5th.

Eliza J. Fit and Flare Colorblock Dress

In today’s post I am featuring my favorite dress I purchased from the sale. There are so many nice dresses available this year that it was hard to choose a favorite. I ended up purchasing the Eliza J. Fit and Flare color block dress. The navy, white and pink colors really caught my eye and I love the fit and flare style. As a sleeveless tank dress this is appropriate for the summer months, but add a navy or white blazer and this dress is perfect for the fall and spring too. I am wearing a size 2 and the dress fits me well.  It doesn’t come in a petite length currently, but the dress is short enough that the regular length would also fit a petite frame. 

This dress really is versatile and that is why I like it so much. I can see wearing it with wedges and a cropped cardigan (such as this one) for a casual beach or backyard event, or with high heels, clutch and a shoulder wrap for an evening look. 

The way I have the dress styled here is most appropriate for summer. I actually wore it to work already with a nice pair of white pumps, and I received so many complements on it!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top 10 Things You Need

Dresses are not the only thing available during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Now that I’ve had a week to look over everything (both what I ordered online, and what I saw in the store), I want to show you the top 10 things you do not want to miss from the sale! The Anniversary sale is such a great time to get a new sweater, jacket, or jeans for the fall. First of all I love my Paige Hoxton jeans, and this year Nordstrom is offering them in a faded blue color with a raw hem. There is something so classic about these jeans, and they just fit so well! As for boots these Blondo waterproof ones are a must for fall. I bought them in a gray color that I know will look good with so many outfits. Sweaters are always a must, and I bought this Leith ribbed cardigan  (so warm and soft!) and this Barefoot dreams classic cardigan. Nordstrom’s selection of jackets for fall is always nice. I especially love this BP suede moto jacket. I have it in grey, and I wish I had bought it in this years  brown/olive color before it sold out in my size. The quality is just so nice for a price of $125! 

As for other must have items, a good bra can always be found during the sale. This Natori Feathers bra is what I wear all the time, and it’s nice to see it in additional colors. Tory Burch always offers nice shoes, boots, and bags during the sale, and my favorite is this Marsden small tote (it just sold out in brown, which is the color I really wanted).  When it comes to beauty items, you don’t want to miss out on this GLOPro Microneedling device that so many people have raved about. And finally, you should be allowed one splurge during the sale, and this stunning Self Portrait dress would be great to have for any special occasion (and it is so rare to see a new Self Portrait dress on sale). 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9 // 10
