Modcloth Capital Class Trench in Dots

Here in the Midwest 90% of the time the weather is cloudy, rainy, or snowy in the winter. The rare time that the sun is actually out is the time that everyone here is in a better mood. I hadn’t planned on wearing this Modcloth Capital Class Trench in Dots until the early spring, but since we had a sunny day I decided to wear it. I like this coat for several reasons. The polka dot pattern of this coat give it a sophisticated but whimsical personality. This coat is made of cotton and lined with polyester and is very well-constructed. It provides medium warmth, so it would be best worn on a cool spring or fall day. The shoulders do have a little padding, which gives the coat a little more structure. It is slightly flared at the bottom which also gives it a feminine shape. Overall this is one of my favorite coats in my closet!

To keep the look simple yet classy, I wore a simple cream sweater and a cream statement necklace. My jeans are one of my favorites of the season, the Banana Republic Sculpt Skinny Ankle Jeans. Simple brown booties completed the look.

Thanks for looking!
