AG Jeans Leah Overalls
I am not one to follow the latest fashion trend, as classic and timeless is always how I like to be. That being said, when I noticed overalls were coming back in style this year, I knew that I wanted a pair! When I was in college, one of my favorite casual looks to wear to class was a pair of overalls and a cute T-shirt and sneakers. Back then I remember I wore a size 14 from the kids department and I was thrilled to be able to do so! The adult clothes were too big for me, but the kids clothes fit me just right. Now that I am a few years older, and I’ve had several kids that isn’t quite the case. As a petite woman, it can be hard to find a pair of overalls that fit. So when I discovered that the AG Jeans Leah overalls were cropped, I decided to give them a try. Not only are these overalls well-made, but they definitely fit me well in all aspects.
These overalls are definitely true to size, and the XS fits me well. For a more affordable option I also like these Levi’s overalls that I found on Amazon. These have a 26″ inseam so they would also work for a petite person.
How to Style Overalls
My favorite way to style overalls is with a simple striped T-shirt such as this one I am wearing from J. Crew (on sale too!). A t-shirt works well with the casual vibe of the overalls. I also think they would look nice with a pretty floral cotton blouse such as this or this. On a cooler day a light sweater such as this one would look great with a pair of overalls.
We’ve definitely had some cold and rainy weather this month (a pretty typical April in the midwest).
