Morning Lavender Summer Favorites

As a petite woman, I have been following other petite fashion bloggers for quite some time. One of my all time favorite petite fashion bloggers, is Kim Le Pham of Lace and Locks, I’ve always loved her classic yet feminine style (not to mention the beautiful photography on her site!). Five years ago she opened Morning Lavender Boutique. The shop’s focus is on offering stylish dresses, tops, bottoms and accessories—all with a feminine flair and sophisticated style. And the prices are definitely affordable, which is a plus! The clothing has always appealed to me, especially when I want to dress up just a bit on a warm summer day! So when Morning Lavender reached out to me for the opportunity to collaborate, I was thrilled!

Elena Mint Green Striped Midi Dress

If you are looking for a comfortable yet stylish dress for summer, look no further than the Elena striped midi dress. Mint green stripes and the prettiest fit and flare silhouette make this one of my favorite summer dresses! I love the soft mint green color. The button down details and the tie waist add such feminine touches too. Even though this is a midi dress, it still works on my petite frame. I am wearing a small and this dress fits perfectly.

Meredith Tie Front Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are definitely still in style this year, and I can definitely see why. They are great for so many situations, and they make deciding what to wear easy as pie. There is no need to agonize about what top to wear with what pants, as the jumpsuit is just one piece. Just put it on, zip it up (or tie it) and you are ready to go. Miranda Lemon Print Ruffle Wrap Dress

Nothing says summer than a fun and flirty lemon wrap dress! This dress is flattering on just about any body type.  I really like how lightweight and  flowing it is too.  The adjustable waist makes this a great fit. And the v-neckline is really flattering as well. I am wearing the small and this dress fits perfectly.

This dress is just made to be worn with a straw hat. I tell you I have searched high and low for a straw hat with a white ribbon, but they are so hard to find. So what I ended up doing is taking the ribbon off of this Lack of Color hat. I added a simple wwhite ribbon and fastened it with a elcro button. It takes literally no sewing skills to have a hat with a ribbon that perfectly coordinates with your outfit. 

This fun printed piece is a great option for a special weekend wine tasting session, or for weekend lunch date with friends!
