Staying Warm in Talbots Aran-Stitched Cowl Neck Poncho

My main goal in the frigid Midwest winters is to just stay warm (and of course stylish at the same time). This Aran-Stitched Cowlneck Poncho from Talbots does just that! This poncho is definitely warm and the cable and popcorn stitching add a sophisticated element of style. This poncho is a perfect layer over almost any top. I decided to wear it with a simple striped T-shirt from J. Crew Factory. This poncho is so well-made that it will last for years. Talbots is having a sale right now and this poncho is under $60 right now.

The jeans I am wearing are by Paige. I like Paige Denim because they are very petite-friendly. These jeans have a 26″ inseam and thus require no alterations. I am wearing a size 27 but in retrospect I should have gotten a 26 or 25 as they do stretch a bit. My booties are my favorite brown booties of the season by Style&Co. Overall this is a perfect casual look for weekday or weekend errands.
