Cozy Sweaters for Winter
If you’ve been watching the news, you’ve probably heard about the polar vortex that is headed toward the Northeastern US this week. I shiver just thinking about how bone-chilling cold it is going to be this week. And to top it off, we are supposed to get another huge snowstorm early tomorrow. I have to head in to work tomorrow and I’m dreading it. I’ll be sure bringing a shovel in my car just in case I have to dig my car out to get home. My kids already have the day off from school tomorrow (it’s supposed to be that bad). There is nothing I would rather do tomorrow than be home with the kids, wearing a comfy sweater and leggings while sitting by the far. Sometimes I think Midwesterners just like to punish ourselves with the amount of bad weather we put up with. I can certainly see why the Rust Belt to the Sun Belt migration happens!

I picked up this cozy ribbed turtleneck sweater during an earlier sale, and it is one of the most worn items in my closet this season. This sweater lives up to it’s name for sure! I love it because it is warm, and the soft slate grey color is really nice. I wear it with jeans on the weekend, and with a nice pair of black pants to work. This isn’t the only sweater that caught my eye at Ann Taylor right now. I also just bought this button collar tunic sweater (that would be so easy to dress up or down).
