Lisi Lerch Custom Bags
One of my favorite trends this summer season is straw handbags. This is why you see me posting about them so much! Lisi Lerch, one of my favorite jewelry designers, is well known around the world for the colorful and preppy chic earrings, necklaces and bracelets that she creates. Each piece of jewelry she creates is made with a flair for fun and color. Her designs can be found online and in boutiques across the United States. And now Lisi is expanding her line of creations to include a customizable handbag line and I am so impressed with it! Each bag is easily customized with a unique ribbon color, along with a fun gold adornment (from starfish, to elephants, seashells, and many more). If styling a bag is not your interest, than you can even choose from a large selection of premade bags that are ready to ship.
How adorable is this Emory Handbag with it’s pretty pink bow and starfish charm? I decided to customize my Emory bag with a pink ribbon, given I’ve been wearing a lot of pink this summer. I chose the starfish for it’s simple yet elegant design. Even though this bag is custom, it was delivered to my door in under two weeks. I knew this bag would be perfect to carry while wearing my scalloped ASOS skirt and scalloped J. Crew Factory cami. I received so many complements on this look when I wore it for a lunch with the kids!

Each Lisi Lerch custom bag is woven by hand by the Master weavers of the Tenganan region on the Indonesian island of Bali. Artists working at home in their villages create the bags from the warm golden honey Ata grass. These bags are fully lined, unlike many straw bags I own. Each bag can take up to four weeks to complete and is truly a work of art. In the Baltimore studio, each bag is uniquely adorned with ribbons, gold plated ornaments, and sea shells. The result is you have a creation that is uniquely yours and will be a statement piece for years to come.

As I said before Lisi was first known for her colorful jewelry. I absolutely love these Bobbi earrings with their fun clover shape adorned with glass pearls! These earrings go perfectly with my outfit and are definitely not too heavy!
Overall Lisi’s bag and earrings make this look so whimsical and fun! Perfect for a summer day date or lunch with friends.
