Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend with your families! Ours was low-key but definitely nice. We spent time together as a family – I helped the kids color Easter eggs. Then I made a nice Easter dinner that the whole family loved. And for dessert we had this Skinny Taste Key Lime Yogurt pie that was simply divine (and practically guilt free too)! I took a day off from blogging just to spend time with the family, which was really really nice. It was nice just to be lounging around in comfy clothes, without the stress of rushing to be somewhere for once. I wish I got to do things like this more often too! And speaking of weekend casual looks, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite Ann Taylor casual dresses. I am always a sucker for stripes, and this pretty red and white striped dress is no exception. This is one of those dresses that is perfect for a weekend casual day. At the same time it looks more polished that shorts and a T-shirt (and it is more comfortable too!). I like that this dress has pockets too. Sizing is true to size – I am wearing my typical 2 petite and it falls just above the knees.
This dress looks great on it’s own, but to give the outfit more style I am wearing this Kut from the Kloth denim jacket that I got from Nordstrom a couple of years ago. This is a great jacket for the price point of under $80. I find the quality similar to more expensive denim jackets I own too.
My Favorite Ann Taylor Spring Casual Pieces
While I normally shop at Ann Taylor for office looks, they are also offering some great casual pieces for the spring season too. I really like these pretty tie waist shorts that come in white or navy. This gingham top would look great with white shorts or jeans. And this fun and whimsical eyelet top can be styled casually with jeans or with nice pants for the office.
I received so many complements when I wore this outfit last weekend too!
