When it comes to Valentine’s day, I love getting dressed up once for date night with my husband. The rest of the time though, I would much rather be in jeans and a sweater or a comfy sweater dress, hanging out with my kids. Of course around this time of year my favorite sweaters to wear are in shades of pink or red as it is a great way to get you in the mood for this fun and festive holiday! Pink is such a fun color, and it will certainly help to bring out the rosiness in your cheeks. And if you are the sort of person that prefers to celebrate Galentine’s day, then a pink sweater is perfect for hanging out with friends!

I found this Tularosa Mia sweater earlier last month. This baby soft sweater reminds me of light and fluffy cotton candy! I love the soft pastel color, and the oversized sleeves with geometric holes add a really nice touch. This sweater is true to size, and I am wearing my typical XS. It is available in limited sizes however. Another nice option by Tularosa is this pretty pink cable knit sweater. 

What is even more nice about wearing a pink sweater is that you can wear one into the spring! A pink sweater invokes images of slightly warmer weather, just when the trees are starting to bloom their flower petals. Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

This title says it is a Valentine’s day gift guide, but it is really more of a Galentine’s day gift guide. This gift guide is meant for the women in your life – moms, sisters, daughters, and girlfriends.  As busy women with jobs and families, we do deserve to treat ourselves once in a while too! Valentine’s day is such a fun holiday to celebrate. And Valentine’s day is the perfect time to let the people in our lives know how much care about them, whether that’s with gifts, time together, or even just a quick message to say “How are you?”. And I love surprising my kids with a special treat the morning of Valentine’s day. My kids are still young, so it’s nice to see their faces light up in the morning, even if it is just a small treat. 

The gift guide below is just a few suggestions from me. Each item I’ve suggested are things that I have personally tried, or brands that I trust. Valentine’s day is only 10 days away, so there is definitely still time to shop!
