How to Add Style to a T-Shirt…

Amazon Daily Ritual Cotton T-Shirts

Truth be told, when I am not dressed up for work or wearing the latest fashionable outfit for a blog post, I’d rather be in jeans/leggings and a T-shirt. There  is nothing better than being to lounge around the home with a comfortable t-shirt, leggings, and a warm cardigan! I feel like I’m so busy that I rarely get to dress this way, and it is such a treat when I do! While wearing a T-shirt and leggings is comfortable, sometimes you do want to dress up the basic T-shirt even just a little bit. We’ve finally had some warmer weather here, so I was able to wear this Amazon Daily Ritual T-shirt for running around doing weekend errands.

I’ve collected many different cotton t-shirts over the years from various stores such as J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Loft. In my experience all are fairly similar though some do loose their shape more easily than others. I came across the Daily Ritual t-shirts when shopping on Amazon.  The price is great at 2 for $20, so I decided to add a set to my wardrobe. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality! It is made of a lightweight (but thicker than a tissue t-shirt) cotton that is perfect for wearing alone on a hot day. It is fitted enough that you could easily layer it under a jacket or cardigan for cooler weather. And this t-shirt definitely holds it’s shape.

Wear a Denim Jacket to Add Style

I’ve always loved the combination of blue and white, especially for spring, so I decided to wear my Daily Ritual t-shirt with white cropped jeans. It was still a little chilly when we were running errands, so I decided to wear my star denim jacket with the outfit. My particular jacket is sold out, unfortunately, but this jacket is very similar. The star print in the jacket complements the blue in the t-shirt and really ties together the whole look. A denim jacket is one of those wardrobe essentials that can add style to any casual look!

I love the heather blue color of this t-shirt. I am wearing an XS and this shirt fits well. To complete the look I am wearing a simple brown belt from J. Crew and brown block heel sandals. 

 

Wear a Utility Jacket to Add Style

Since the Daily Ritual T-shirts come two to a pack I have a second t-shirt to style differently. Here in the Midwest we have lots of 40-50 degree days, and a jacket is a necessity. A military jacket is a nice piece to have because it adds so much style to any casual look! And a military jacket is one of those pieces that won’t go out of style anytime soon. Military jackets are typically olive green, which is a nice neutral color that goes with just about everything.

Thankfully on one of the warmer days this week, I was actually able to show off my Florida tan before it completely fades. I decided to wear the striped Daily Ritual t-shirt with my favorite distressed STS Blue boyfriend shorts. 

The combination of the striped t-shirt, distressed shorts, and a utility jacket really creates a polished, casual outfit. This is one of those looks that works for both the spring and early fall.

The Daily Ritual T-shirts come in 15 color combinations, and at 2 for $20 it would be easy to have this shirt in multiple colors!
