Amazon Fashion Prime Wardrobe

If you follow my blog regularly, then you have seen me post about my love for Amazon Fashion many times. So when I learned about Amazon’s new Prime Wardrobe service, I was so excited to try it! As a busy mom and doctor, I end up doing much of my shopping for clothes online. We all know the pitfalls of doing this – jeans may be to small or a shirt might not fit quite right and back it goes. Often this is a hassle because you either have to pay for shipping, or take the time to drive to the local store to make the return. Prime Wardrobe eliminates all of these issues, and with the service you can essentially bring the dressing room to your home!

What is Prime Wardrobe?

Prime Wardrobe is an Amazon Prime-exclusive program where you can try before you buy from eligible items across women’s, men’s, girl’s, boy’s and baby clothing, shoes, and accessories. What is nice about the program is that you get seven days to try-on the items at home. The is no fee for the service and you will only be charged for the items you decide to keep. Prime Wardrobe is included with eligible Prime memberships and there are no additional fees to use it. How Many Items Can I Try at Once?

You need to add at least three items to ship your Prime Wardrobe order, and you can try up to eight items at a time. Amazon does not allow you add more than one exact item at a time to a single order (i.e., same size and color). There is no minimum dollar threshold for a Prime Wardrobe order.

What really impresses me about Prime Wardrobe, is the extensive selection of name brand items. I am able to find brands such a Parker New York, Joe’s Jeans, J. Brand, Hudson, and Theory through Amazon Prime Wardrobe.

It is so nice to be able to try on jeans in the comfort of my own home! Excuse the shot that makes my butt look huge, but it does illustrate the point.

How pretty are these Jack Rogers Lauren sandals? And right now they are on sale too! I can see wearing these sandals with shorts and a t-shirt or even a fun and flowing midi dress.

To return what you don’t want make sure you go to “Your Orders” to check out before the end of your 7-day try-on period.  If you forget to complete checkout during the 7-day try-on period, you will be automatically charged for all items in your order at the end of the try-on period. So don’t forget! If you’ve already put your returned items in the mail when this charge occurs, you don’t need to do anything else – you will automatically be refunded when we receive your returned items.

So What Did I Keep?

As much as I liked everything that came in my Prime Wardrobe box, in the end I decided to keep this MinkPink Zion Smocked Halter Dress. I love wearing dresses in the summer, especially floral ones! This dress more than exceeds my expectations. The floral pattern is so pretty. This dress is stylish, yet lightweight enough to wear on a hot summer day.

The halter top aspect of this dress is really nice.  Even though it is not pictured, this dress also comes with pockets. No detail is spared in the design of this dress!

Though not officially part of Prime Wardrobe, I love this Fix Hampton crossbody circle bag. For $99 this genuine leather bag really is well made. The handle has pretty metal studs that add visual interest, yet don’t detract from the class of this bag.. The tassels are well made and are attached to two zippers that allow for a wide range of motion. I love how you can open it up like a vanity bag, or just unzip it slightly to quickly retrieve your phone.
