Halogen Atlantic Pacific Collection
Hello everyone! I am finally back in the land of the living after a few day’s hiatus. I had to take my Rheumatology recertification exam yesterday and boy was it a tough test! The perfectionist in me spent two months preparing for the test, so hopefully I passed. And finally I can take a deep breath and get back to the business of blogging. So onto today’s post – my first impressions of the Halogen Atlantic Pacific collection!
If you follow fashion blogs at all, then you’ve probably heard of Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. She is well known for her quirky take on classic fashions, and she finally came out with her very own collection through a collaboration with Nordstrom. I’ve been eagerly anticipating the collection as I knew it was going to be nice – and that is an understatement! What I really like about this collection is that each piece is designed to mix and match with others, so you can come up with multiple looks with the same piece. And the prices are reasonable and the quality is top notch!
Halogen x Atlantic Pacific Wool and Cashmere Blend Tie Sweater
With the cold temperatures I am all about wearing warm and comfortable sweaters. This wool and cashmere blend tie sweater is one of my favorites from the collection. I love the soft pink mauve color and the tie detail adds a really nice touch. This sweater would be so easy to dress up or dress down. I am wearing it with this petite-friendly plaid pencil skirt from the collection, which makes it great for work. Style it with a pair of jeans and you have an effortlessly stylish weekend look.
Honestly, I would have never thought to wear ankle socks with heels, but these shimmer ankle socks from the Atlantic Pacific Collection really do give this look so much style!
Halogen x Atlantic Pacific Shimmer Stripe Sweater
The Atlantic Pacific collection is all about sparkly and shimmery things. And this shimmer stripe sweater is no exception! This sweater comes in both a black and white version and the pastel version I am wearing. I like this sweater because it is a great piece to style multiple ways. This sweater is lightweight, which makes it great for layering. And the shimmer detail is subtle, but it is just enough to give this sweater style.
Halogen Double Breasted Blazer
A pink blazer is such a fun addition to anyone’s wardrobe. This blazer is actually not from the Atlantic Pacific collection, but I still like it! Styled with the shimmer sweater and a pair of jeans and heels, this blazer creates a really polished look. This blazer definitely runs large, so I recommend sizing down one size. I am wearing the XS petite size, but I could have gone down a size further too.
So all in all I am just so impressed with the Halogen x Atlantic Pacific collection. She says it is limited edition (I hope it’s not true), so be sure to shop now while you can!

J’aime beaucoup la couleur du pull. La jupe est très originale et va bien avec le pull. Je vois sur les podiums de défilés de mode et chez des blogueuses le port de chaussettes avec des sandales ou des escarpins. c’est une question de goût. Personnellement, je trouve qu’il vaut mieux avoir des jambes longues pour porter des chaussures chaussettes sinon ça coupe la jambe. Là, dans ce look classique, ça apporte une touche d’originalité. J’espère que vous avez réussi votre test professionnel !
