How to Add Style to Your Outfit With a Stole

It has been so nice this season to see styles of years past come back again in a new form. The fur stole is a good example of this. A fur stole adds an element of sophistication to any outfit. Not only is a stole stylish, but it is practical as well as it does an excellent job of keeping your core warm. I purchased this Ann Taylor Faux Fur Stole earlier this winter. Unfortunately it is sold out, but Nordstrom sells a very similar one. Luckily, no animals had to die to make these stoles, as they both are faux fur but still look very realistic.

The coat I am wearing is the Guess Wool Blend trench coat. This has to be one of my favorite coats of the season! This coat has such a classic style that it will be fashionable for multiple seasons. Additionally, this coat is very warm and well-made. It is very reasonably-priced at under $150 as well! The coat comes in gray, red, and a striking sapphire blue color.

The skirt and top I am wearing I purchased at the beginning of fall, and never got a chance to wear it until recently. My outfit is sold out as well, but there are so many similar options available that a similar outfit would be easy to recreate. I especially like this sequin tweed skirt from Ann Taylor. Both Ann Taylor and Loft skirts tend to run large. I am wearing a 2 petite, but I really should have gotten a zero. This dark green bow blouse is very similar to the one I am wearing from Loft in these pictures. Such a sophisticated style that would be great for work.
