J.O.A Off the Shoulder Mini Dress

Springtime I think is my favorite time of the year. The weather is finally getting warmer and the days become longer. My favorite aspect of spring however, is the explosion of flowers and greenery that happens at this time of year. Right now in Ann Arbor the daffodils are blooming and the Bradford Pear trees are blossoming. It is a sea of white flowers everywhere and I love it!  Springtime is the best time to finally start wearing floral sundresses too. I’ve had this J.O.A. off the shoulder mini dress just sitting in my closet for the last two months, and now is the perfect time to wear it. This dress is appealing for so many reasons. The soft blue color is one of my favorite colors. The white floral print is so feminine and spring-inspired. Finally the soft ruffle details add such a whimsical touch. I am wearing an XS and it fit’s my petite frame perfectly.

There are so many other floral dresses I have had on my wishlist this season. This Shimmer Floral Flounce dress from Loft has a similar style and feel to the one I am wearing. This Jungle Floral Flare dress from Ann Taylor I could see being worn with a jacket to work or by itself for a wedding or baby shower. This ASTR Floral Print Wrap Dress comes in two colors and I love them both. The cobalt color and the dramatic styling of this Eliza J Chiffon Maxi Dress are both just so striking. Finally I like the ruffle detail along with the pretty pink and yellow floral detail of this June Dress from Revolve.

Finally a word about my sandals. I have been very impressed with the Via Spiga brand ever since I bought my first pair of suede block heels from the company. Their shoes are always so stylish, and most importantly comfortable. I have purchased three pairs of Via Spiga sandals this season and I love each and every pair I own. The Carson Sandal is my favorite of the season.
