Talbots Fringed Heart and Plaid Wrap

In today’s post I am excited to show you this gorgeous Talbot’s fringed heart and plaid wrap.  As soon as the weather turns a bit chilly I am all about wearing cozy hats and scarves so I don’t freeze. I pulled out this warm wool wrap  to wear for some weekend errands, and received so many complements when I wore it. This wrap features a plaid pattern, one of the most popular prints of the season.  I love the pretty pink background with the gray hearts superimposed upon it. It is so stylish it is yet it is also so easy to wear! Perfect for any cooler fall or winter day.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Almost everyone I know has been touched in some way by their own (or their loved one’s) experience with this devastating disease. Approximately one in eight U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Over a quarter of a million women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and nearly 41,000 die of the disease. This particular wrap is  specially designed to reach the hearts of those who’ve been affected by breast cancer (whether directly or through a loved one). Through October, 20% of the net proceeds will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation(R) in providing the tools for early detection and education. So it ends up being money well spent when you buy this wrap.

I decided to style this wrap for a casual look. It looks perfect when styled with this super cute Guess double breasted wool coat.  My jeans are one of my favorite petite-friendly jeans in my closet (previously worn here). The beret I am wearing ties in the colors of the wrap and my coat perfectly, and it is under $10 too!  Parisian chic is the best way to describe the entire look.

So wear your hearts proudly, and give someone hope at the same time. Remember, 20% of Talbots’ October net sales will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, so be generous in the name of charity. You can never have too much pink (or plaid for that matter)!
