Club Monaco Ali Crop Pants

It really is funny how styles come and go. I distinctly remember dressing my newborn daughter in adorable floral pants ten years ago.  My mother-in-law and I were chatting about how cute they were on her, but how inappropriate they would be on an adult. That conversation dissuaded me from ever buying any kind of floral or any other patterned pants for several years. That is until I started seeing pictures of women wearing stylish floral pants. I was certainly influenced by seeing these pictures, as they changed my whole perspective on floral pants! So with spring coming around the corner, I knew I wanted to invest in a nice pair of floral pants. So when I saw these Club Monaco Ali crop pants, I knew I had found the ones for me!

What I really like about these pants is the simple floral pattern. So many floral pants are too loud for my tastes. The design on these is classic and timeless and is perfect for both work and weekend wear. With 27″ inseam, these pants are perfect for petite women like myself.

These pants are so comfortable that they are perfect for travel. I decided to wear them on our last day visiting Turks and Caicos (full review coming next week!). I wanted something cool enough for the Caribbean weather, yet with a few layers would keep me warm for the return trip to Michigan. A simple white cami and my classic Burberry trench coat complete the look.

Club Monaco has several other floral pants that have caught my eye, and would be great for transitioning from winter to spring.  I love the pretty blue color of the Renay crop pant. For an effortlessly chic look these Ellayne crop pants are perfect!

And on a final note, meet my latest bag obsession! The Demellier London line has been popularized by Meghan Markle, and I am so happy to discover this brand because of her! My favorite of the brand is the Mini Berlin Bag (I have it in black but it comes in so many other colors). The gold clasp is so reminiscent of something you would find on a classic Hermes bag.  All Demellier handbags are handcrafted in the south of Spain by local artisans using the finest Italian and Spanish materials. This bag is every bit as nice as my designer bags, at a much better price point. And for every bag purchased Demellier London funds a set of lifesaving vaccines and treatments aimed to save the life of a child in need.

As always, thanks for looking!

  1. I think the only time I’ve worn printed pants as an adult was my yoga pants. I like how these are subtle and not in-your-face floral print. I like fun colors, but can only take so much. I would definitely wear these ones!

  2. That is too funny. I have had those same thoughts. Kids can get away with most everything. I have seen a lot of Christmas outfits that were extreme though. I do have a couple floral top and bottom pieces. Spring time will bring that out in me.

  3. So true! I remember years ago when a friend and I were making fun of gauchos, then as the trend grew, they grew on us as well. We admitted to each other one day that we were kind of feeling them. Haha! Funny how that goes 🙂

  4. The pattern on these pants is so adorable. I love that you have paired it with a lot of neutral colors to allow it to pop.

  5. Wow! You look absolutely stunning! I love this whole entire outfit. It would definitely get my out of my comfort zone, big time!
