Casual Office Inspiration

This weekend certainly was busy! On Saturday I took my girls to one of their many ice-skating competitions. Both girls did great (1st and 2nd place respectively) and I am so proud of them! Sunday was equally busy as we did our weekly run together, the boys had tennis practice, and we did the weekly grocery shopping. At the very least I did get to sleep in a bit, so I am rested enough to start the latest work week. Today I though I would show you an outfit I wore to the office earlier in the week. I picked up this outfit at one of my many Loft shopping trips. Loft has had some amazing sales lately. Loft Twill Wrap Coat

I just love the look of a white coat in the winter, as it is so easy to style and it is so classic. Perfect for brightening up a gloomy winter day. I am a firm believer that it is OK to wear white after Labor Day, as long as the clothing is weather-appropriate. This coat is comfortable, roomy, and stylish. The wool-blend material is so soft to the touch too. I really like the pockets on the front, as it is so easy to put your hands in them when the weather is exceptionally chilly. With the sale price of under $35, this coat will sell out quickly (and currently is available in a M, L, and XL). If you want a petite white wool coat, I do love this one by Express that is very similar. 

Loft Floral 3/4 Sleeve Swing Dress

This floral swing dress caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I love the black and white geometric floral pattern. The dress itself is made of a comfortable, thicker fabric, which is perfect for the winter. And this dress is classy enough to wear to a party or for a day at the office. I am wearing it with these warm and cozy fleece tights. Since I wore it to clinic, I had my white coat on over it. But this dress would also look great with a cardigan, such as this pretty pink ribbed one. This dress definitely runs large. I am wearing the XXS and still have plenty of room to spare. 

To really add style to the outfit, I love, love, love this adorable pearl-embellished beret. I received so many complements when I wore it!
