Loft New Arrivals for Spring
Winter is still here but I am counting down the days until spring! It is hard to believe spring is only six days away. Hopefully that means it is time to put away the coats and boots, and start bringing out the spring clothes. Spring is always a nice time to do a closet refresh, and I am always looking for affordable pieces to wear for the upcoming season. Loft recently had their 40% off sale, and I took the chance to stock up on some of my favorite new arrivals from the store. Luckily, many of the items are still on sale. Even if they aren’t they likely will be again soon.
Spring is all about flowers! Floral prints have always been a favorite of mine. One of my favorite Loft new arrivals from their spring collection is this feminine pink and grey floral skirt, I knew it would be a nice skirt both for work and for a warm weekend day. This skirt runs somewhat big, so I do recommend sizing down a size. Even better, it is on sale for 40% off!
I am wearing it with my Club Monaco Ellayne tie trench (previously worn here). This is just a nice basic trench with an adorable tie detail that takes the style up a notch. I just love the look of a draped trench with a floral skirt. The combination creates an effortlessly sophisticated look!
I styled this skirt for work, so I am wearing this feminine bell cuff blouse. This is a nice blouse to have in your spring wardrobe, as you can wear it with so many things – a nice skirt, dressy shorts, or pants. The button at the top allows this blouse to have a keyhole detail or you can wear it open for a slightly different look.
If you are looking for a nice comfortable pair of pumps for work, I definitely recommend these Cole Haan pumps. These are well made, stylish, and comfortable enough to wear while walking around for eight hours of the day.

Loft Mixed Floral Lace Top
I knew I had to have this gorgeous mint green lace top as soon as I saw it! Light and airy, this top is perfect for spring. Again, I styled this top for work with ivory pants. This top is versatile enough however that you could style it more casually with blue or white jeans. For an even more casual look, style it with shorts.
Light and brown accent pieces complete the look. I like the combination of ivory, mint and brown together. These were all pieces I had in my closet, which makes this outfit easy to put together and to wear!

I love that floral skirt! It looks so light and comfortable, and of course reminds me of spring with all the flowers. I like that it’s a fun pattern, but subdued colors so it isn’t so loud.
