How is your Memorial Day weekend going? Ours seems to be flying by as Monday is already here. I spent the weekend running around with the kids (my husband was working all weekend). My oldest daughter wanted a sleepover so I spent last night hanging out with tweens and putting on cucumber face masks. We had so much fun doing it though! And in between all the controlled chaos, I did manage to snag some great deals during all the MDW sales. Speaking of sales, Loft is having their Memorial Day Weekend sale as well. Loft Lace Flutter Dress
I feel like I do post a lot about lace dresses, but that is because I love them so much. There is just something so classic and timeless about a lace dress. This lace flutter dress I am wearing is no exception. I love the feminine flutter sleeves and the double tier hem. The A-line style of this dress is flattering on everyone! And the steel blue-gray color is such a pretty hue as well. I am wearing my typical size 0 in Loft sizes and this dress fits perfectly. It is most definitely petite-friendly too!
The floral pattern of this dress is just so feminine and perfect for spring. This lace flutter dress is also the kind of dress you could wear anywhere. I wore it to work (with a white coat over it) and it looks very professional. This dress could be styled more casually with a pair of sandals and a straw hat as well.

Loft Striped Tie Waist Shorts
We had some unbelievably hot weather this weekend (one of the hottest places in the country!). Summer is a little under a month away, but it definitely feels like it is already here. My typical summer look is either a cute little dress or shorts and a t-shirt. When I saw these chic tie-waist shorts I knew they would be the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe.
The tie-waist detail is my favorite thing about these shorts. The pastel stripes totally fit my style too! Given there are so many different colors in the shorts, you could really wear it with any summer t-shirt. I decided however to wear this pink vintage-style t-shirt with it to complement the pink in the shorts. This easy-going look is perfect for hanging out with the kids and running errands on a hot summer day.
I am really loving all the straw bags that are in style this season. How cute is this Caterina Bertini straw circle bag? And it is only $50 too! This is one of those bags that looks great with any summer casual outfit. And it is big enough that it can hold just about everything you would need to carry in your purse and then some.
