Why A Burberry Trench is Worth the Extra Money
The temperatures have finally dropped here in Michigan and so it is finally sweater and jacket weather. I have always loved the look of a classic beige trench, and when I saw this Burberry trench on sale at Bluefly over the summer at half of retail price, I knew I had to have it. The one I have has a chain embellished edge, which I thought added a very nice detail. It is very similar to the Burberry Kensington trench in honey, as it is made of the same durable cotton gabardine material. There are many reasons to own a Burberry Trench. First of all, it is worth it to me to pay the extra money for a Burberry trench, as it is a classic and will never go out of style. Secondly, as a working professional, this trench is very practical for me to wear to work as well as for evening wear. Finally, Burberry trench coats are so well-made, they will last for years and years. I am wearing a UK size 6 (US 4) and it fits me fairly well, though I could have the sleeves shortened if I wanted to.
The dress is from Loft. I saw it on their website, and the both geometric tile pattern and the A-line style. It is a heavy jacquard print and is well-suited for fall weather. It is on sale right now on the Loft website, and can be purchased for under $42. I am wearing a size 0 regular. I decided not to get the petite size as there was a 1/2 inch difference between the two, and I liked how the dress fell just above my knees. I paired this with my Cole Haan Bethany pumps. This is a 3″ pump and very comfortable and suitable for frequent standing at work.
