Tilly’s Full Tilt Velvet Slip Dress

It was a busy weekend with the kids so I was up late tonight to make this post. We had some gorgeous weather this weekend for February so no complaining here. Velvet has been such a popular trend this year that I knew I wanted to have one velvet outfit. I found this very affordably priced velvet slip dress at Tilly’s. I had never shopped there before but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the customer service. This dress is such a pretty pink color and has such a lovely v-neck design. I am wearing an XS and it fits perfectly with no need for alterations.

It was rather cold the day we took these pictures so to stay warm I pared the dress with a simple waterfall cardigan and OTK boots. To add a whimsical element I am wearing this cute moon and stars necklace from Eve’s Addiction. I am always telling my children how I love them more than all the stars in the sky, and this necklace reminds me of what I tell them all the time.
