My Winter Uniform…

We are almost halfway through February, and winter is definitely still here. After a brief warm-up we are yet again going to be hit with a huge snow and ice storm. I try to look at the bright side though as at least we are not having subzero temperatures. When it comes to weather like this though my number one priority is to stay warm! It can get a little boring wearing jeans, a puffer coat and boots (though it certainly is functional). I love wearing dresses too in the winter, and when it’s this cold I love wearing my favorite sweater dress with a pair of OTK boots. When I dress like this it’s like wearing a tunic with really thick leggings. And on extra cold days I throw on a pair of tights underneath everything. The perfect prescription for staying warm and fashionable!

Lovers + Friends Speak Up Sweater Dress

I picked up this chic leopard sweater dress earlier this season. Leopard print has definitely been on trend this season, just as it was last year. I like this dress because it is a nice neutral black/gray color, which means it goes well with so many accessories I already have. This dress is definitely soft and warm too! It is petite friendly, and I am wearing my typical XS.

I am wearing this dress with my favorite Stuart Weitzman boots, but this dress could be just as easily worn with a pair of leggings and booties. This is the kind of dress you could easily wear on a casual work day and into the night as well! 

Sweater Dresses to Love

With spring still far off into the distance, now is definitely not the time to be wearing sundresses and tank tops. But if you love wearing dresses like I do, a few other sweater dresses have caught my eye.
