As a petite woman, I have found that A-line dresses look the best on me. I am relatively long-wasted and A-line dresses accentuate my waist and at the same time they appear to lengthen my very short legs. So when I found this pretty blue A-line dress at Parker NY, I wanted it right away. It was my first purchase ever from Parker NY and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. Their clothing is extremely high quality and there are so many small details that I think distinguish their clothing from so many other clothing lines. They tend to be more expensive but they do however have frequent sales. I found this dress for under $100 since it was on sale and I got a 10% new client discount. I did buy it earlier this summer, but unfortunately it is no longer available. They have so many stylish dresses (both casual and formal) and I think their clothing is definitely worth the money.
The monochromatic blue tone is what I found most attractive about this dress (since blue is my favorite color). I decided to add some color to the outfit by pairing it with a BCBGMaxazria scarf I found on Nordstrom. I also wore an old Swarovski blue crystal necklace I had (and I have linked to a few very similar Swarovski necklaces) as well as my M. Gemi Nuca scrappy heels. Overall I thought this was a very chic and sophisticated look, perfect for a day at the office.
