Talbots Aran-Stitched Cowlneck Poncho
I previously posted about this poncho here. This was such a pretty poncho that I decided to buy it again in gray. Gray and blue are two of my favorite colors so I was happy to be able to put together a gray and blue outfit. I thought the poncho would look perfectly with the houndstooth plaid scarf that Talbots also sells. It is still pretty cold here in Michigan so dressing warmly is essential. This poncho is so well made. It is simple and classic and I know it will last for many seasons! Even better, it is on sale right now too for over 60% off!
I am also glad to see that white after labor day is not so much a fashion faux-pas anymore. This gray poncho really stands out against white so I wore it with white Hudson skinny jeans I purchased over the summer. My boots are by Schultz. These are very nice and comfortable boots but I do have a little trouble getting these to stay up on my legs. I am going to invest in this boot bra in the future! Overall I think this is a cute, stylish, yet practical outfit that is perfect for a winter weekend day.
