Petersyn Chelsea Blouse
I’m rounding out the week with a single outfit post. It was a pretty crazy week with work and the kids. On Wednesday I came down with a terrible sinus infection (that I’ve never actually had before) and that put me out of commission for a day or so. Thankfully after a good night’s sleep I’m back to feeling normal.
Anyway, as for my outfit, I took the plunge and bought this adorable blue and white striped top by Petersyn. Petersyn is one of my favorite brands for spring tops, as their designs really are a cut above so many things available. I bought my first Petersyn top last year (seen in this post) and was so impressed with the quality and style, that I bought a new one this year.
This blue and white striped peplum top (the Petersyn Chelsea Blouse) is nothing short of adorable! This is the type of top that is flattering on just about anyone. I love the feminine style of the statement sleeves. This top is a fresh take on the Victorian age blouses of the 1900’s with a decidedly modern spin. The smocking at the waist creates a lovely silhouette as well. It does run slightly small so I did size up from my usual XS to a small.
I am wearing the color “Bluebird” but this top also comes in a navy version that you can find here.
A pastel blue top such as the Petersyn Chelsea Blouse I think looks best with a nice pair of white skinny jeans. A top like this could easily be worn with a white denim mini skirt, or white wide-leg pants. Overall this is such a pretty look that makes you feel like you are on a resort vacation every time you wear it!

Cute outfit! I’ve been getting more into fashion lately. Personally for my taste I would loose the sleeves and add a belt. But it fits you perfectly the way it is!
Oh man, sinus infections are horrible, I’m glad you’re feeling better. I’ve only had one once and it knocked me out for almost a week and I had to do a 12 hour drive with it. I love the cut of this shirt, it’s adorable and looks so comfortable for the warm summer months.

Love a good statement sleeve! They make getting dressed so much easier because you don’t really have to fuss with too many accessories since the shirt is a statement in and of itself! Loving that Gucci bag as well 🙂

That’s such a cool shirt! It reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Those sleeves look like a lot of fun. I am not sure my daughter could wear it yet as it cuts a little low from my perspective. But it is very beautiful.
