A Sweater Dress is a Winter Staple
As much as I have spring fever, winter is still upon us. We are halfway through February though so spring is less than five weeks away! Sweater dresses have been a staple of mine this season as I find them so versatile and functional at the same time. I purchased this Eliza J. cable knit sweater dress over a month ago, but alas it is already sold out. Ann Taylor though has a very nice option that looks similar (and it is 50% off right now!). A sweater dress can easily be dressed up for work or dressed down for a more casual event. I love pairing sweater dresses with over the knee boots as the look is just so chic and the combination just keeps me so warm!
This dress on it’s own is rather simple, so to add style to the outfit I paired it with an oversized square scarf in a check pattern. This particular scarf had a lot of brown and burgundy in it, so to coordinate the look I wore my Vince Camuto OTK boots. My newest bag, the Chloe Marcie Satchel, tied everything together. I love the dark, rich burgundy color of this bag. I probably won’t use this bag much in the spring and summer months, but it is perfect for fall and winter.
