Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

This post says it is a Valentine’s day gift guide, but it is really more of a Galentine’s day gift card. As busy women with jobs and families, we do deserve to treat ourselves once in a while! Valentine’s day is such a fun holiday to celebrate. My husband and I do try to go out for date night, even if it isn’t exactly on Valentine’s day. And I love surprising my kids with a special treat the morning of Valentine’s day. My kids are still young, so it’s nice to see their faces light up in the morning, even if it is just a small treat.

The gift guide below is just a few suggestions from me. Each item I’ve suggested are things that I have personally tried, or brands that I trust. Valentine’s day is only 8 days away, so there is definitely still time to shop!

  1. Silk Pajamas – Silk Pajamas will make any woman feel glamorous. These pretty (petite-friendly) peach cherry blossom PJ’s by Papinelle are the perfect way to settle in for a luxurious evening.
  2. Dior Eyeshadow – Dior eyeshadows have long been a favorite of mine. These pretty mauve, cream and brown shades are so pretty to wear in the fall and winter. I like to wear colors like this when I am wearing a mauve shirt or dress. Dior eyeshadows are long-lasting and the pigment is nice and dark.
  3. Charbonnel et Walker Truffles – These pink champagne chocolate truffles taste wonderful. The chocolate is amazingly rich, and the heavenly center just melts in your mouth. Perfect for the special Valentine!
  4. David Yurman Earrings – David Yurman jewelry is always a classic. These sterling silver and pave diamond earrings are so pretty, and are simple yet elegant enough to be worn for any occasion.
  5. Joe Malone Candle – Peony and Blush Suede is my favorite Joe Malone scent – elegant yet not too sweet. . My favorite thing to do on a relaxing weekend morning is to sit in a cozy chair while reading a book. I love to enjoy this lovely scent as it fills the entire room.
  6. Uwilia Warrior Camisole – If you haven’t had a chance to try this brand, I definitely recommend you do so! I had the opportunity to receive a pair of their underwear last year, and they literally are the nicest underwear I have ever worn. This camisole is made of 100% silk and it has the softest sheen. The lace detail makes this camisole decidedly feminine.
  7. Uwilia Warrior Underwear – As I just said, do yourself a favor and try the most comfortable underwear you will ever own!
  8. Kate Spade Chocolate Heart Leather Bag – Isn’t this bag just darling? Leave it to Kate Spade to design a fun and whimsical bag for Valentine’s day and beyond. Big enough to hold all the essentials, yet small enough to carry around all day.
  9. Ralph Lauren Woman Eau de Parfum – I love this scent! This blend of blooming white florals and rich vibrant woods embodies the essence of modern femininity. It strikes the perfect balance between womanly grace and powerful strength. The perfect gift for the strong woman in your life!

Fun Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Valentine’s day is all about spending time with that special someone. I’m actually a homebody, so my idea of a fun Valentine’s day would be breakfast in bed. A good home cooked meal with my husband would always be nice too! For a more adventurous date night a local wine tasting tour would be so much fun. Spend time together with activities such as ice skating, a cooking class, or heading to the local theater. Activities such as heading to a local comedy club or taking a paining class are always fun. Of course, the most important thing is to take time out of your busy schedules to spend time together.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
