I haven’t done a Work Wednesday post in a while, so I thought it was about time to do one. As I’ve said before, I dress up for work 5 out of the 7 days of the week. When I’m not wearing scrubs, I do like to wear office-appropriate fashions so that I can look professional and well-respected. For years my go-to brands for workwear have been stores like Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. Did you know however, that Amazon has a large selection of both affordable and fashionable workwear pieces? It can be hard sometimes to sift through the enormous selection of clothing Amazon has, but if you stick to a few reputable brands your choices suddenly become so much easier!

I have a slight obsession with stripes, so when I noticed this Cable Stitch bell sleeve stripe sweater, several things stood out to me. The graduated stripe pattern is a little different than your typical stripe sweater. The bell sleeves give this sweater a modern and stylish flair. The tapered waist is flattering for anyone with curves. And the fabric is somewhat thick, which makes it appropriate for a cooler winter or early spring day. There really isn’t anything not to like about this sweater!

A striped sweater like this is easy to style. I am wearing it with my classic Banana Republic Sloan pants in navy. Navy Cole Haan heels and my navy GiGi New York Amelie bag complete the look. This outfit is so easy to put together, yet it looks stylish and sophisticated at the same time. 

What I really like most about this sweater, is that it is easy to dress up or dress down for a more casual look. Throw on a pair of jeans with a pair of heels or booties and you are ready to go for the evening! I especially like Amazon’s Hale line of jeans. These classic jeans with a modern twist are designed by Adriano Goldschmied (the designer of several designer jeans). These jeans come in a large array of colors and styles, and so many are petite friendly!

When I am looking for fashionable workwear, I want clothes that are first and foremost comfortable. This typically means comfortable pants and stretchy dresses. I like pant that will go with many different tops, so I can get more wear out of them.
