The World of Alice and Trixie

One thing I love about fashion blogging is discovering new brands I never knew about previously. There are so many nice brands besides the typical mainstream ones I have shopped at for years, and it is so refreshing to see what newer brands are like. One such brand is Alice and Trixie. When Alice and Trixie contacted me about collaborating, I knew right away I was interested. It is easy to tell that their clothing is high quality, and I just love the colorful, eye-catching designs!

Alice and Trixie was founded in 1997 by New York fashion designer Angela Taylor. According to Angela,”Alice & Trixie is a celebration of her obsession for exploring vintage stores and global marketplaces, her appreciation for style icons of the past, and her passion for art.”. Her styles are bohemian with a touch of glam, and I find the styles to be effortlessly chic! I love the vibrant colors she uses, and the whimsical designs are just so fun to wear. Better yet, her designs are created and manufactured in New York City, which of course supports the overall American economy.

The dress I am wearing here, the Rafaella dress, is currently sold out. More should be arriving soon I am told. There are so many other nice dresses available however. The Olivia Dress is very similar and also comes in two distinct patterns (Santa Fe Scarf and Island Reef Geo). The Monique Top is the same pattern and style as my dress, but made instead as a blouse. One of my favorite looks from the brand however is the Archer Jumpsuit. I love the soft blue color, and the embroidered detail. The cropped styling is perfect for a petite frame too. Overall, sizing runs true to size. I am wearing a size small here, though an XS would have fit even better.
